When we create our own challenge galleries, we select the end date for the challenge and it leaves it open for entries until midnight of that day (for example midnight June 12th, as I had MMC challenges ending then.) But, for some reason, the challenges leave the list of Open challenges and show as Closed at midnight the beginning of the date set. My galleries showed on the Closed list yesterday morning. This led to some confusion for people looking for the challenge galleries after they had posted. It's not a huge deal, but I didn't know if that was an easy fix so they would be synced, or not?
