**Altered Christmas Frame/Wreath Class!**

I wasn't going to do this (have a few other projects to do for the Holidays) but showed my bf and he REALLY liked it and asked if I could make one for his mom!! Guess I need to place another order and find some old frames and books!

Once your frame is dry and you have all your paper tufts you can plug in your glue gun and get rolling! I found it best to add a dot of glue to the tuft rather than putting the glue directly on the frame but it is up to you. There is no true perfect pattern for gluing and you may find that your arrangement is different from what I did based on the size of your frame. I pretty much had three rows of tufts across the width of my frame. I angled the innermost row towards the center of the frame, the middle row was facing upwards, and the outermost row was angled slightly to the outside.

Also, a note: I would LOVE to see all kinds of variations on this! Make it say Merry Christmas, instead... or do it in blue and white for Hanukkah!

I would try:

- scrunch tighter
- use a thinner pen
- glue them closer together

lol, I know. It was really hard for me the first time too. The way I got over it was thinking of it as giving a second life to a book that would likely never be read again. I wasn't picking a classic, you know? They are .99 paperbacks from the Salvation Army... turned into something beautiful!

Here's mine! I found that as I scrunch teh paper over the end ofa pencil I hold it and glue it on to the frame then using the pencil as a tool to place each tuft of paper it went very fast! I was surprised.

I wasn't able to participate in making this project, but I can tell you I will be doing it very soon! Jess, your instructions are great! I can't wait to make this ... seems very easy to do to whip up a few Christmas gifts.

haha I just bought a dictionary at the dollar store and the frame too! Less painful that way.
